Ellen L. Lee
Attorney Ellen L. Lee has over two decades of experience handling a wide array of family law matters, including divorce, child custody and visitation, child support, marital property distribution, spousal support, separation agreements, premarital agreements, and domestic violence. In assisting her clients, Ms. Lee draws on her background in psychology and experience as a volunteer counselor to help make the often difficult and stressful family law process pass as smoothly as possible.
Ms. Lee attended Montgomery College and the University of Maryland, receiving her Bachelor of Arts degree in 1979; she obtained her Juris Doctorate in 1985 at the American University Washington College of Law. She is a member of the Montgomery County Bar Association, where she belonged to the Judicial Selections Committee from 1990 to 1991, the Legislative Committee from 1991 to 1992, and the Continuing Legal Education Committee from 1992 to 1994. She is also a Psi Chi Mentor and participates in the Montgomery County Pro Bono program.
Ms. Lee is authorized to practice law in all state courts of Maryland. She was admitted to the Maryland State Bar in 1985.
